If it weren't for the last minute, a lot of things wouldn't get done [Oct. 30th, 2005|09:56 am]

Yesterday we went grocery shopping and I bought a couple of pumpkins. I was afraid there wouldn't be any good ones left, but these are perfect. The Boy was so excited he was dancing through the produce department. We'll wait to carve them until Middle Daughter gets back from her dad's.

Yesterday I also stopped by the fabric store to get the material for Middle Daughter's costume. She's going to be a statue. It won't take long to sew, but I need to make myself go cut out the pattern before I leave to go see the Diana exhibit at the museum, or I'll still be sewing on it at midnight. And I refuse to do that, because Middle Daughter made a crack to Husband about how I'd be making her costume at midnight tonight, and I told her that it would be done when she got home today. I refuse to let a 12-year-old peg me so completely.

That's okay. I'm waiting till the last minute to carve the pumpkin, because we may have a lot of rain tomorrow. Hopefully, it will stop before dark(X fingers).
