Well, I do know one thing - it wouldn't be me. But I did make some headway on the house this weekend, and sewed almost all of Middle Daughter's badges and patches on her vest. I gave up with only three to go because I was tired and couldn't get them on straight despite pinning them several times over. This weekend, I also:

Stained the threshold on the front door
Watered the plants in back
Re-organized the pantry
Cleaned out most of the refrigerator
Swept, swiffered, and mopped all my hardwoods
Took Middle Daughter to a birthday party
Washed, dryed, folded, and put away several loads of laundry
Made 15 bean soup
Took the kids to the library
Watched all of Anne of Avonlea with Middle Daughter
Updated my website
Made the kids chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast
Cleaned out from under the couch in the TV room (Ew)
Watched Harold and the Purple Crayon with The Boy a billion gazillion times

...and still don't feel like I got anything accomplished.

I'd say you accomplished a TON! way to go! {come to my house next}

oh, and badges, get some of that fabric glue. I found it doesn't hold long term but is excellent for holding in place for sewing. Pinning doesn't work well, they are too thick. Glue one day, sew another.
