|Shed, she said

Saturday was a DITL day. I forgot all about it until it was nearly over. Which is a shame, because it was an interesting day, what with the shed being re-roofed (not by me) and my cousin's son getting married. I should clarify that my cousin's son getting married and the shed getting re-roofed were two separate events. Although that would have made an even more interesting day, I suppose.|
The shed looks a zillion times better. Earlier in the week, we had it re-framed and new siding put on, along with a new door and an extra window on the backside. Yesterday, they re-framed the roof. Like everything else about this house, the shed was a bit...odd. The roof was longer on one side than the other, making the eaves uneven. If you think "uneven eaves" is hard to say eleven times fast, try looking at them eleven years running.
Now I just need to caulk and pick out paint. I'm thinking green. When it's done, I'll post after pics. Since I didn't take any before pics the results won't be as impressive, so you'll just have to take my word for the zillion times better thing.
