Be prompt [Dec. 1st, 2011|10:57 pm]
The LJ writing prompts amuse me, because they are always questions that can be answered in one or two words. For example, today's prompt is, What is your favorite day of the week?

I mean, really? Not only can you answer that in one word, but there are only seven possible answers - nine if you throw "All" and "None" into the mix. Shouldn't writing prompts start with How or Why instead of What? Isn't Why do you have a favorite day of the week? a more interesting question?

Because it's right in the middle of the week. So if you're having a bad week, it's already half over. And if you're having a good week, you still have half of it left.
