Thirty posts hath November [Nov. 1st, 2011|09:22 pm]
So, it's November 1. I missed rabbit rabbit because I was up after midnight last night, so I didn't get my wish. But that's OK because I forgot to make one.

Right now, I wish I blogged more. marshmelococoa pointed out that it's November NaBloPoMo, which is like NaNoWriMo for people who can't keep one train of thought for a whole month. So, I'm going to give it a try. A post EVERY DAY for a month. Really. I mean it this time. Really.

That doesn't mean it will be a post worth reading, of course. That goes without saying, although apparently it doesn't, since I just said it.

There are rules and stuff I might get around to reading and possibly even following later. But in the meantime, what I need is something to blog about. There are supposedly helpful writing prompts on the official site, but they are not promising. For example, today's prompt is, If you knew that whatever you ate next would be your last meal, what would you want it to be? Duh. Thirty years long. Not much of a post there.

I still have a "30 days of me" meme lying around somewhere I can fall back on, but it's not a whole lot better. So I'm throwing the ball into your court, hoping you'll throw me back a bone. Something you want to know? Something you want me to blog about? Now's your chance. Leave a comment, ask a question (or two or three), give me a topic.

Seriously. If no one leaves any comments, I'm going to look even lamer than usual.

I'm replying because the note on Facebook got my attention. I wondered how to make that connection from my LiveJournal blog. I'm sure I can find it if I check it out.

My current thing is a 50-years-ago series during which I try to remember and describe what Ann and I were doing each month 50 years ago. We have trouble remembering, but some of it is beginning to come back.

Don't think that would help with your post per day for the month. I'm sure you'll come up with something.

I was around fifty years ago, but my memories are pretty vague, lol.

When you're typing your LJ post, there should be a "crosspost to" checkbox under the editing box along with a "settings" link to set up your fb account. Once you've saved the settings, you can check the box to crosspost at fb.

One or several DITL posts would be awesome.

I LOVE your DITLs.
