Where do we go now that we've gone this far [Nov. 29th, 2010|07:08 pm]

November really got away from me. Mostly in good ways. We just got back from a week-long trip to Phoenix, attending my sister-in-law's wedding and hanging around afterwards for Thanksgiving.

Molly was very glad to see us when we got home. She had plenty of company, with my sister and her husband and my mom stopping by several times a day to check on her, but she missed us. When we came in the door she started making this noise I've never heard a dog make before. I swear it was a sob.

At least she didn't do what Tillie did. Tillie is my sister's dog. They recently took a 10-day trip to Spain to visit my niece, who is teaching there. When they got home, Tillie wagged her tail so hard that she broke it. Fortunately for Molly, she's not a very good tail-wagger. She just kind of wiggles her whole body. Which I guess could have gone very badly, but I don't think she broke anything.

Oh god, poor Tillie. That is kind of adorable, but...OW.

Sounds like a jam-packed fun November! HAPPY DECEMBER!

Shut up. The dog did not wag so hard that she broke her tail. You're just making that up to make for a funny story. ;)

Poor Tillie.

I'm imagining the whole body wiggle Molly does as being the same thing our dog does - we coin it "The Mappy Twist". I don't know why, it looks like a dance that should be called that. lol
