I'm sitting in traffic when I notice I've left the camera in the car, and remember it's a DITL day
Traffic doesn't get any better once I get on the freeway. Apparently the fog confuses people.
I get to work and remember I was too tired to wash out my cup last night.
My to-do list is rather daunting. There's nothing for it but to go out for coffee.
The muffins mock me, but I do not heed them.
Back at my desk, I take the lid off my mocha. At my age I refuse to drink from a sippy cup.
At this point I'm hyperventilating
Impromptu meeting by my cube
I like phone conferences because I can multi-task when my stuff isn't being discussed.
Someone sends me a pic of our new office. My highcube days are numbered.
Several meetings later, it's time to head out for lunch
I do heed the call of the sweet potato fries
I'm having lunch with my boss and the new manager who inherited some of my systems
More meetings after lunch
They are all about as exciting as this one looks
The fog has cleared and I try not to be distracted by the sunshine
The flotsam and jetsam of my day
We are supposed to be cleaning out our cubes to prepare for the upcoming move. A co-worker finds this and leaves it for me. I wonder if he's trying to call me an old bat.
A few hours of answering mail, setting up meetings, and completing paperwork, and my to-do list is as to-done as it's going to get.
So I make a list for tomorrow
Yay! 20 minutes earlier than I got to leave yesterday! I try not to feel like a slacker.
Everyone else seems to have gone home already. Lightweights.
When I get home, The Boy is enjoying a crush cup.
Leftover night - I snag the hibachi veggies.
