Zen & The Boy

That Boy, I swear! The stuff he comes up with out of the clear blue sky.I wonder which (or what) one of the not quite unsung Roosters he meant?

"Robot Chicken", Seth Green's creation, had theme music, but without words.

"Chicken-Boo", from Spielberg's "Animaniacs!" "Chicken Boo, what's the matter with you? You don't act like the other chickens do..."

"Super Chicken", from origins unknown: "When you find yourself in danger, when you're threatened by a stranger..." And the immortal catch-phrase: "You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred."

And last, but certainly not least, Chuck Jones/Warner Brothers' FOGHORN LEGHORN! "Lump-dah-dump dah dah dee dah dum, DOO-DAH, DOO-DAH! DAWG, Ah say, Ah say, HEY, DAWG!" When DDR (dearest darling roommate) and I went to see "Tombstone" on the big screen, the minute Val Kilmer opened his mouth in his rendition of Doc Holiday, skimming right off the top of Foghorn Leghorn, we pretty much lost it. Heh.

Strange Days.
