The Boy has become Canadian when we weren't looking. All of a sudden, he's sticking "Eh?" at the end of every sentence. As in, It's a pretty nice day today, eh? Or, It's a good thing we brought our jackets, eh?

He'll also occasionally speak with a British accent. I don't know where that comes from, either.

You know, sticking "eh" at the end of every sentence is also common in my neck of the woods. If you ever have a moment, or a bit of interest, check out the movie "Escanaba in Da Moonlight" by Jeff Daniels. It's not a truly accurate depiction of people from the U.P., but it has it's shining moments. And there are lots of "ehs" at the end of every sentence.

A common bumper sticker you'll find up here is "Say Ya to Da U.P., eh!"

I never knew that. Husband grew up in Michigan, although not quite in the U.P. - maybe it's a genetic memory thing, lol.

Not only that, but yesterday he told me that he thought pancakes would "make a good brekkie". So I guess now he's thrown Australian into the mix.

I think he's spending too much time on youtube. I guess I should start monitoring what he's watching, eh?
