That's how many mosquito bites I got raking up twigs and leaves in the back yard. I can't even imagine now nasty the little buggers would be if we hadn't had all this cool dry weather the past two weeks.

On the plus side, guess where I am? At home! Yes! I have electricity! And cable! And the internet! The linemen worked as long as they could last night trying to get it back on, but ran out of light (they were scheduled to stop working at 6:00 but stayed almost an hour after that). But they came back almost before the sun came up this morning and we had power around 8:30. And the heavy trash pickup guy came and picked up all the brush we had stacked by the curb!! I am so excited, I can't stop using exclamation points!!!!

Mission for today: restock the fridge and freezer. We kept nothing.

I saw that you were on myspace on *Saturday* so you couldn't be posting from work.

I'm so happy I'm just about peeing my pants! :O)

Hip-Hip Hooray!!! You are in the lap of luxury right now. :D I'm not making fun - I know it must really seem like it.

Ouch for your grocery bill. On the bright side, your fridge won't be cluttered?

Someone linked me to this and I thought you'd find it interesting given all of the recent happenings taking place in your life!
