Critter update [Sep. 7th, 2004|11:31 pm]
[Tags|, ]

The opossums are back, sort of. Rob spotted the big one on the patio tonight, but we can't tell where it came from. Hopefully not the garage; it wandered off in the direction of the shed, which is less than optimal but far better than the attic.

Love the opossums, except when they're living under our roof.

Racoons,and 'Possums and Skunks, oh, my!

Careful with the critters. All three are known to carry rabies.

Actually, opossums are extremely resistant to rabies.

They are pretty fascinating animals, when they aren't living in your garage or attic.

Here's just about everything you could ever want to know about opossums.

Isn't this a prerequisite for being a true Texan? {grin}

A Touch, A Touch, I Do Confess, I Fear I Breathe My Last--

Alas and drat the day! This true Texas wench has--somehow--managed to forget the Sacred Armadillo! What ever shall I do? I wonder if it's too late to change my allegiance to the House of York? (With apologies to Rudyard Kipling and Kenneth Whathisface, of course.)

Nah.... Just do some penance.

Give me 10 "Reckcons", 15 "Fixens" and 15 "Ya'lls" and all will be forgiven.
