That's so awesome!! Thanks so much for sharing all of that. Looks like you guys had a great time! You have such a good looking family. Good for you for taking so many pictures!
Aw, thanks! I think they are good looking too - of course none of them look a bit like me, lol.
hahaha, they ALL look like you!
What a fun looking weekend!
We had a really good time. But now I'm really tired!
What an awesome WITL! ;D I spy some Vera Bradley at the bottom, I think? I love the footsie machines! They are crazy, though. The Livestock show looks fun - I used to go to the North American International one all of the time. You don't know this about me, I don't think, but I used to be a cowgirl. ;D You know, we had cows and I was in 4-H and showed (only at local fairs, though) for a couple of years. ;D That's why I had boots.
You found it!! I knew I had uploaded that pic of the VB bags but could not manage to find it when I was formatting last night. I am such a dweeb.
I didn't know you used to be a cowgirl - how cool is that? Did your cows win any ribbons?
It was at the bottom left - all the way at the bottom.
Just a few. ;D I didn't do it for all that long - maybe three years, and one year my heifer wound up with horrible warts right before show season so she couldn't go.
ew. that is SO cowgirl ;p
and here I feel all cowgirl for sayin' y'all and riding horses.
This is awesome. I got real boots just 2 years ago, for my birthday. So funny that we live in the same town!
Are you going to the rodeo? We have tickets for tomorrow night. But we went to the livestock show over the weekend so we could have time to wander around and see everything.
we hadn't even considered because we thought it would be too expensive. Now I kinda want to... looks like you guys had so much fun. We went to the rodeo when we lived in Waco and had such a good time.
Rodeo tickets start at $16, I believe. It's another $12 to park, or $12-$16 to ride a park n ride shuttle bus (which we do because it's so much easier than trying to get out of the parking lot).
Rodeo tickets include entrance into the livestock show, but doing both can be a long day for little kids. Just the livestock show is cheaper - $7 for adults and $4 for kids - I think kids under 3 are free.
Whatever you do, eat before you go. It's the food that will take a sizeable chunck of change.
I love Berings too! Haven't been in years though. I feel terrible we didn't make it to the livestock show- the kids haven't been and with the arrival of the little one smack in the middle of it all, we didn't get a chance.
