Prezzies for everyone! [Oct. 1st, 2007|08:04 pm]
In case you were wondering, I was wearing my lounging around the house clothes today because I was lounging around the house. The Boy is sick. Was sick. In the wee hours of the morning, he came into our room covered in...well, never mind. Suffice to say that I was still cleaning up the aftereffects at 7:00 this evening.

So, we had a lounging day, wherein The Boy nibbled on crackers and I tried not to smash the television during the 200th replay of Spongebob Squarepants Lost in Time.  Once Middle Daughter came home, I escaped to the local shopping center to try and find a new foam topper for The Boy's bed. The old one, which you didn't ask about, is now on the back patio waiting for trash day.

I totally scored - instead of the old egg crate foam occupying the back patio, I found a queensize memory foam pad for only $25, that I can cut in half to make double squishy. And I found a TMNT dvd for the kids, and Princess Caraboo for me, which is nothing short of miraculous because I started wanting a copy about a month ago and haven't seen it anywhere, and a Ray Bradbury Theater dvd for Husband to watch once all our new favorite shows get cancelled.

But best of all, I found this!!

I hope The Boy is feeling better!

Great deal on the mattress pad! I used to buy larger ones and cut them in half like that when I was in college. Those beds were always so hard.

The Boy has the most uncomfortable mattress ever. Once he gets a little heavier, I'm going to have to break down and buy him a new one.

Heck, if I could find that costume in Jersey Boy's size, he'd probably dress up for Halloween all year long.

And I'm glad that the boy is feeling good enough to shoot stuff!

Heck, if I could find it in my size, I'd wear it all year long, too!
