You're just educating yourself. It's not about the contest, it's about the dishes and techniques.

There. Good housewife karma ;)

HELL no!!

I kicked Connor off the TV so I could watch it.

And is it bad that I let him watch too? Almost all the hilarious cursing is bleeped and blurred anyway, right?! I didn't have it in me to make him do something else while I stole the TV away, even though I DVRd it. I could have waited until later but I had to watch RIGHT THEN.

Gosh, I hope not, because I let my kids watch it. The other day The Boy was talking about a movie he saw adverstised and he said, "It's rated PG-13 because they say bad words, like on Hell's Kitchen." Oops!

LOL! Even though they're allowed to say 'bitch', and he does, I don't even think Connor knows that is a word he shouldn't say, which of course means he likely has no reason to remember it or say it. He liked the fire though. ;)

Who's your fave to win?

Yes yes yes. Be prepared for lots of yelling. Lots and lots of yelling.

I suppose I must be a bad wife too :-)

So who do you think will win? I really like Jen, the pastry chef. She seems focused, intense and committed without all of the drama. Rock annoys me - especially because he talks in the third person and Kathi doesn't like it when that happens.

Kathi

Re: I suppose I must be a bad wife too :-)

Ha! Rock annoys me, too. He was so mad last night about the whole garbage thing. I like Jen. Low drama. I like low drama. But I like Julia too, because she's the underdog.

No, doesn't make you a bad wife.
But it does sound like you are as obsessed with Hell's Kitchen as I am! I've been pulling for Julia from day one. Everyone treated her like scum because she worked at the Waffle House and I believe her Waffle House experience has been beneficial in helping her deal with the stress. Even though it's obvious she feels overwhelmed at times, she's hanging in there and proving herself to be a good cook and a fast learner. Rock was my favorite one on the blue team until he got all dramatic last night and started kicking things around. Oh, and thank goodness, know-it-all is finally gone.

I couldn't stand>/i> Melissa. All that hair! In the kitchen! For the love of bisque, put on a hairnet, woman!!

I think it would be cool if Julia won, but I'm thinking it will be between Jen and Rock.
