I am so stoked [Apr. 15th, 2007|09:21 pm]

Tonight was the premiere of Drive and it was awesome!! So much Nathany goodness, so much quippiness, and car chases that are actually fun to watch, to boot!

I'm hooked. Which, of course, means this show will be cancelled after three episodes.

In other TV news, tonight on Brothers and Sisters (a show I don't normally watch, but when flipping channels was the lesser of all network evils) they had Jenna Elfman and Susan Sullivan playing a mother/daughter. Coincidence, or stunt casting? You decide.

Darn, we missed BOTH nights and have been looking so forward to watching it. :(
Stephen loves to watch car chases. Is it kid friendly?

Not sure about the kid friendly part - there's a lot of violence in the shooting guns/getting hit with a shovel sense. I let my kids watch it, but I'm also the one who lets my five year old watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and let my ten year old watch Serenity.

There is a myspace DRIVE page that has the first two episodes available for download. It's worth a look.

Ack! I missed it! Not only does it have Nathan Fillion yumminess (I love his commentary on Firefly - he's so funny!), but Tim Minear - Buffy writer/director/producer - goodness! Honestly, if you were tell me that the key grip from season 2, episode 6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was also the key grip in a Discovery Channel special called "The History of Pollination," I'd be ALL over that! Hey, fan isn't short for fanatic for no reason! (Does that make sense grammatically?)
