|My first DITL
||[Aug. 21st, 2006|08:50 pm]
This is the first time either of the boys has been looking over my shoulder while I was reading your blog.
Liam: "Quinn! Come quick, you have to see this kid! Mom, who's that kid?"
Me: "That's my friend's son."
Quinn: "Wow, that's your friend's son?"
Me: "Yes." (scrolling down through the page)
Liam: "That's him too! And that's...oh wait, that's his dad."
Quinn: "Who's that girl?"
Me: "That's his big sister."
Quinn: (awed) "Liam, that's what the inside of a *teenager's* room looks like!"
Liam: (equally awed) "Wow...cool!"
DH and I are laughing at the "inside of a *teenager's* room" comment, because DH had just commented that I had to cut in pretty close to make her room not look like a total disaster.
oh the poor boy. My sons LOVE to look at the Thomas brochure over and over until it falls apart. [I have a few on reserve somewhere].
Excellent first DITL!
It took me freaking FOREVER...I ended up using a combination of powerpoint, paint, and presto photo album to get it put together. I so need photoshop, lol.
This is our LAST Thomas brocure (or as The Boy calls them, thomas maps). I guess we'll have to buy another train or something to get a new one when it falls apart.
if you don't mind less expensive, go for Paint Shop Pro. You can get it pretty cheap considering the other programs. Go to www.corel.com and you can download a 30 day trial anyway. But if you want to save up for PS, that's ok too. :D

This blog is terrific! I now want everyone to post one like this so I can feel like I am spending the day with them! Btw, I also love the recooperative effect of Jello! Milli
The biggest problem I had was remembering to take pictures. But I think it would be awesome if all my friends did a ditl (day in the life) post. Hint, hint.
you may be on to something with that idea!
That was cool! Glad to see the boy had a smile on his face near the end. Jello always helps. :-)
