Have I been gone? [Oct. 11th, 2005|09:46 pm]

I swear, it feels like I've been posting every day. One of these days I am going to learn that thinking something is not the same thing as writing it.

The stuff I thought was really funny and touching and inspiring, too. In exactly the way that this post isn't.

As for what's going on in moonspinning land, you didn't miss much. The whole family has been just under the weather enough to be grumpy. Saturday was Pumpkin Patch...someday I'll get around to downloading the pictures. Middle Daughter completed her math project, even if it did mean she and Husband were at Kinko's at 10:30 on a school night binding it. The Boy has developed the habit of crawling into our bed around 2:00 am and then kicking me in the back until I have to get up for work.

I am taking Thursday and Friday off this week. Partly because I have 87 unused vacation hours but mostly because I really just need a break.

Hey! why don't you take one of those 87 days, and come to the AGC's annual fundraiser? Tickets are only $35.00, it's desserts made by the women of the Texas Culinary Institute, wine is $2.00 a glass, coffee and water free, the choir will sing a little, and there's going to be a jazz singer.

Yes, I'm desperate.
