|If I lose enough trees, will I be able to see the forest?

The tree news was not good. Apparently my Chinese Elm (which is another name for Hackberry, which has now been reclassifed as a hemp instead of an elm - yeah, I did some reading) isn't going to get any better, and is not the kind of tree which can grow back lost limbs. So in another week or two, when the tree people have an opening, it will be gone.|
Even though it isn't technically an elm any more, it still managed to get Dutch Elm Disease, which is why it's lost so many branches and the ball moss was able to get a foothold. Several years ago, I told a friend of mine that I always figured I would die of something stupid, like Dutch Elm Disease, which makes me a little nervous. If you know anything about me at all, you know I am a huge jinx, and my life is pretty gosh dang ironic. Do not be surprised to hear my Dutch Elm blighted tree fell on my head.
In any case, I am trying to decide what sort of tree to plant in its place. Any suggestions? What's your favorite tree?
